Wild Rift has received it’s first major update of 2021. Wild Rift version 2.0 is adding a few new champions for you to take on, amongst other changes. Here’s what we know…
Riot Games’ answer to League of Legends Mobile is Wild Rift. It takes everything you love about the MOBA, or at least quite a bit of it, and puts it on your phone for you to LoL on the go! With Season One on the horizon, Wild Rift has received a little update that adds new characters with version 2.0.
There’s also additional skins and yet-to-be-announced balancing changes in and amongst the update. But, here’s what we know…
Wild Rift Version 2.0 New Characters & More
Wild Rift doesn’t quite have the full roster of League of Legends Champions, but it’s growing… Below are the five new characters that are coming to Wild Rift via Version 2.0:
- Corki;
- Kennen;
- Tristana;
- Lulu;
- Teemo;

There’s also a few additional features outlined below:
- Party Finder for players without a full-stack;
- Latency Indicator added in-game;
- Social Network sharing features in end-game and leaderboards;
- Map Description added;
- Mastery Emotes added for in-game ranks and levels;
But, what we all want to know about is the new skins… Well, here they are below:
- Sad Robot Amumu;
- Urfrider Corki;
- Arcade Corki;
- Star Guardian Janna;
- Star Guardian Jinx;
- Artic Ops Kennen;
- Star Guardian Lulu;
- Dragon Trainer Lulu;
- Star Guardian Lux;
- Cottontail Teemo;
- Guerilla Tristana;
- Arclight Varus;
- Little Devil Teemo;
- Little Demon Tristana;
- Wicked Lulu;
- Super Kennen;
- Star Guardian Ezreal;
That’s a lot right? Well, we can also share with you that there’s a change to the Champion Rotation in Wild Rift. Check it out:
- Jan 7 – Jan 13: Barum, Camille, fizz, Graves, Jhin, Malphite, Orianna, Shyvana, Sona, and Varus;
- Jan 14 – Jan 20: Akali, Alistar, Dr. Mundo, Drave, Jarvan IV, Miss Fortune, Soraka, Tryndamere, Xin Zhao, and Xed;
Finally, there are a few System Changes that have been announced. We don’t know about specific Champion balancing yet, but… Hey. You get what you get.
- Ping Replies added in-game;
- Monster Respawn Timers added to scoreboard alongside UI improvements;
- Scoreboard logic improved for enemy stats;
- Emotes Wheels added in-game;
- System Messages UI moved on-screen;
- Detailed Stats added in-game;
- Tower Prioritisation changed, now they will focus on Super Minions first;
- Leaderboard refreshes more frequently;
